Toners 4 Africa ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use toners4africa.com, request a quote, contact us or subscribe to our emails, how we use it and the choices you have. It is written to comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
1. Who is responsible

2. Information we collect
- Quote requests and messages: name, business name, contact number, email address, delivery area, printer or copier models, the products and quantities in your quote basket, and anything you write in the message box.
- Email sign-ups: your email address and the date you subscribed.
- WhatsApp, phone and email: what you share with us when you contact us directly.
- Technical information: your IP address (kept briefly to stop form spam) and, only if analytics are switched on, anonymised usage statistics and cookies.
Your quote basket is stored in your own browser (local storage) until you send it. We do not see it before then.
3. How we use it
- To prepare and send your quotation, confirm stock and arrange delivery or collection.
- To answer questions and check that a cartridge suits your machine.
- To send product news and specials, only if you signed up. Every email lets you unsubscribe.
- To keep records required by law (for example tax invoices once you buy).
- To protect the website against abuse.
We process your information because you asked us to (a quote or reply), to perform a contract with you, to meet legal obligations, or with your consent (emails). We never sell your personal information.
4. Who we share it with
Only where needed: couriers and transport partners who deliver your order, our email and website hosting providers, and our accountants or authorities when the law requires it. Each is bound to keep your information confidential and secure.
5. How long we keep it
Quote requests and messages are kept for up to three years so we can follow up and refer back to previous orders. Invoice records are kept for five years as required by tax law. Email sign-ups are kept until you unsubscribe.
6. Security
The website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Quote requests are stored in a password-protected administration area that only authorised staff can open.
7. Your rights
Under POPIA you may ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to processing, and withdraw consent for marketing at any time. Email info@tonersforafrica.com. If you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa): inforegulator.org.za.
8. Cookies
The site works without tracking cookies. If analytics (such as Google Analytics) are switched on, they use cookies to measure visits in aggregate. You can block cookies in your browser settings.
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
